My name is John DeMedio and I am a multimedia designer and developer. That basically means that I enjoy creating anything on the web, in print, or involving media such as film and video. I’ve been focusing a good amount of my time enhancing my skills in the field of web design and developement. But I am always eager to creatively attack and destroy any project I can get my hands on...and by “attack and destroy”, I mean “make awesome”.
This is my portfolio website and here you will find examples of some of the projects that I’ve had the privilege of working on in the past 5 years. Some of the skills used in the following samples include: HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, Wordpress, CMS, and Cross Browser Compatibility.
This is my Wedding Website. I recently got engaged and this is the site I made for us. In order to make this, I created a Wordpress template from scratch using HTML, PHP, CSS and JQuery.
The is the ADVANCE Online Media Kit. I designed and coded this site from start to finish about two years ago. It was created for Merion Matters, my current employer.
Florida is for Nurses is a microsite I designed at Merion Matters. It was created using HTML, CSS and Flash.
Before working at Merion, I worked for a company called OPG Global. For them I designed several sites that no longer exist. KIM Books was originally a non-profit online bookstore built in an ASP.net environment.
OnEmployers was a site for people to rate their Employers. It was also built in an ASP.net environment.
This was the logo that I designed for OnEmployers. I was told to make something using arrows and the color green. This was done using Photoshop and Illustrator.
OnPerformance was the sister site of OnEmployers. It was also built in an ASP.net environment.
This was a site that provided resources for people in the staffing industry. It was in an ASP.net environment and contained a store.
What we Give was a fundraising site. The idea was that people and organizations could go there and create their own fundraiser. Here is my design. I also created the logo as well.
This is another Advertisement that appeared on one of Merions Facebook pages.
This is an email campaign, created at Merion Matters. It won the annual Merion Matters Award for Best 2009 Campaign
